Herbal Garden
Where many B-Loved creations begin.
Many B-Loved creations begin long before they reach the jar or bottle. They begin with a seed, organic soil, sunshine, rain—and time.
My garden in Grindrod, British Columbia is where I grow and harvest many of the herbs and flowers used in my herbal preparations and botanical creations.
The garden is pesticide- and herbicide-free. I let the plants grow naturally, working with nature rather than against it. Bees and other pollinators are welcome visitors from spring through fall.
Grown With Intention
I grow many of my herbs from seed, tending and harvesting them throughout the season.
For me, harvesting isn't simply about taking from a plant. I thank each plant for what it has given and for the part it will play in helping me create something for someone else.
Some herbs are dried, some are used fresh, and others are slowly infused into oils for B-Loved creations.
From Garden to Creation
Seed → Garden → Harvest → Infusion → Creation
I love knowing the journey of an ingredient. A calendula flower may begin as a tiny seed in my garden, be visited by bees throughout the summer, then be hand harvested and infused before eventually becoming part of a B-Loved creation.
What I cannot grow or harvest myself, I look to source locally and thoughtfully whenever possible, favouring naturally derived ingredients suited to what I am creating.
A Garden Shared With the Bees
The garden gives to B-Loved, but it is also shared with the bees, pollinators and other little lives that call it home.
This is where so much of B-Loved begins—one seed, one plant and one season at a time.
Garden grown • Wild harvested • Locally sourced
Grown, harvested, infused & created with love and intention. 💜
Grown Here, With Intention
Echinacea growing in the B-Loved garden in Grindrod, BC. Many of the herbs and flowers I use begin right here—grown from seed, tended by hand and harvested with care.
Harvested by Hand
Each herb and flower is harvested by hand with care and intention. I thank the plants for what they have given before preparing them for drying, infusing or creating.

A Garden Shared With the Bees
The garden is shared with the bees and other pollinators that visit from spring through fall. They are an important part of the B-Loved garden—and a little part of the B-Loved story too.
