Botanical Infused Salve

Rich, protective and deeply nourishing, Skin Rescue is a concentrated herbal salve handcrafted with four traditional skin-care botanicals: Calendula, Yarrow, Self-Heal and Lavender.

These herbs are slowly infused into grapeseed and olive oils, allowing the oils to take on the oil-soluble constituents of the plants before being blended with rich shea butter, beeswax and candelilla wax.

The result is a water-free botanical salve that helps soften, condition and protect dry, rough and weather-exposed skin, while creating a comforting barrier that helps seal in moisture.

The Botanicals

Calendula (Calendula officinalis)
One of the best-loved herbs in traditional skin care, calendula has a long history of topical use for soothing and caring for delicate, dry and irritated skin. Its beautiful golden flowers make it a natural foundation for a botanical skin salve.

Yarrow (Achillea millefolium)
Yarrow is a classic traditional apothecary herb with a centuries-old history in skin and first-aid preparations. Its naturally astringent character complements the softer, soothing qualities of calendula and lavender.

Self-Heal (Prunella vulgaris)
Also known as Heal-All, Self-Heal has a long history of traditional topical use and is one of the botanicals that makes Skin Rescue particularly special. Traditionally valued in herbal preparations for compromised and irritated skin, it brings another restorative botanical element to the infusion.

Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia)
Lavender has long been treasured in botanical skin care for its gentle, soothing qualities. Infusing the herb into oil gives Skin Rescue another layer of botanical goodness while contributing lavender's naturally delicate herbal character.

Why Botanical Infusions?

Skin Rescue isn't simply a plain balm with essential oils added for fragrance.

Calendula, yarrow, self-heal and lavender are slowly infused into grapeseed and olive oils, creating the botanical foundation of the salve.

The infused oils are then combined with shea butter to condition and soften the skin, while beeswax and candelilla wax give the salve its rich protective texture and help seal moisture into dry skin.

There is no added water and no synthetic fragrance — just a concentrated blend of botanical-infused oils, plant butter and waxes.

How to Use

Warm a small amount between your fingertips and gently massage into clean, dry skin as needed.

Ideal for dry hands, elbows, knees, heels, rough or cracked-feeling areas and skin exposed to cold, wind or frequent washing.

Because Skin Rescue is a concentrated, water-free salve, a little goes a long way.

 Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Oil, Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil, Calendula Officinalis Flower, Achillea Millefolium, Prunella Vulgaris, Lavandula Angustifolia, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Cera Alba (Beeswax), Euphorbia Cerifera (Candelilla) Wax.
